The Monastery Noravank
Legend:
Master Momik fell in love with the beautiful daughter of the Syunyats prince.
The girl loved Momik too. Her father, the prince, called the master and said:
"I will give you my daughter, if you build a new marvelous monastery in 3
years".
The young master was cutting the stones for the monastery from rocks and was
hewing them.
When the prince realized that the monastery was almost finished, he decided to
kill Momik and sent one of his servants to push him down from the dome of the
monastery.
And the last stone hewed by Momik became a tombstone for him.
